Airless Bottle or Pump Bottle

If you have to decide between airless or pump bottles, let me provide some information to help you choose the best option for your product/formula.

Pump Bottles can vary quite drastically in price. Single wall bottles are less expensive than double wall bottles or heavy wall bottles.  Typically you would use an airless option for higher viscosity products such as a heavy cream that may be more difficult to evacuate.  If your product contains a high percentage of silicone, this should also be considered when selecting a package.  For instance, this type of formula is not always best suited in an airless.

Airless Bottles are generally meant for higher end products and cost more than your standard pump bottles. Airless bottles also tend to provide greater product evacuation so the consumer can get more product out of the container.  You can almost always count on 90-95% product evacuation when using an airless bottle.  Great for various products from serums to foundations.  Just make sure when using airless you always do evacuation testing to ensure your package is pulling the right amount of vacuum to dispense your formula properly.

We are here for all your bottle questions and are happy to recommend the right package for your project!

Airless pump bottles allows more product to be evacuated without having to be in contact with the product. These bottles pull a vacuum which allows the elevator piece to lift the product up to be evacuated. Whereas with standard pump bottles the product is dispense through a dip tube. With airless pumps you will typically see over 90% evacuation rate depending on the package/package contents.

Hi, Was after the airless bottle pump in 100ml bottles, for my hand cream and body lotions range. If I could get some prices of the different type of airless bottles you have that would be great. Do you have a minimum quantity order or can I customise my own? Look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convinience. Many thanks Mel
