Beautiful girl doing makeup and walking on city street

Here are fun and quick beauty tips to fix yourself up using every day products. You may be on the go or need to do some last minute beautifying. Here are 5 common items you can grab that will help you look your best.

#1 Toilet Seat Covers

Use: Blotch the oil from your face

The oil on our faces likes to sneak up on us mid-day while we are either at work or out and about. Here comes toilet seat covers to the rescue. Grab one from your bathroom at work or from the stall in a public restroom. Tear a piece off and get to blotching.

#2 Hair Conditioner

Use: Shave your legs

Need to shave your legs last minute and…. GULP… no shaving cream around?! Have no fear there is another way. Use your hair conditioner as a substitute for shaving cream. Shave your legs and have soft skin after. It’s a win win! It works! Give it a try.

#3 Toothpaste

Use: Decrease the size of a zit.

OMG you have a big day tomorrow! And that’s when the zits love to sneak up on you. Oh no! Girl, grab the toothpaste and dab some on that zit and go to sleep. When you wake up the next day and wash off the toothpaste, your zit will be noticeably smaller. Hooray!! Mr. Toothpaste just saved the day!

#4 Tea Bag with caffeine

Use: Reduce dark circles and puffiness.

Fix your dark circles and eye puffiness without breaking the bank. Tea is good for the outside too.

Follow these steps:

1.) Steep 2 tea bags and squeeze out the liquid.

2.) Refrigerate the tea bags for 20 minutes.

3.) Grab the tea bags from the refrigerator.

4.) Lay down and put the cold tea bags over your eyes (one for each eye).

5.) Relax for 20 minutes and let the tea bags work their magic

#5 Baby Powder

Uses: Volumize and lengthen your lashes

Baby powder is not just for babies. If you have some around the house, bust it out. It is a handy way to make your eyelashes appear longer and fuller. Here’s how to use it:

1.) Apply 1 coat of your favorite mascara to your eyelashes.

2.) Use a Q-tip to brush a light layer of baby powder on your lashes while the mascara is still wet.

3.) Then apply another coat of mascara over the baby powder, covering the layer of baby powder completely. Voilá! Your lashes are transformed!
